Imp The creature

I loved this project. This was a semester long project where we developed a single character from the ground up. The best part was when we made a physical sculpture of our characters. I feel really proud of my character.

The hardest part was making the long fur around the neck and hips. The rigging was incredibly difficult.

Early concept art. Each image was done in a 3 minute time frame to focus on the feel, and shape of the character.

My next step was finding color palates and defining the character digitally.

I did some rotoscope animation over a video of a ferret running for research on the base movement of Imp. The end product didn't quite get the bounce that I wanted. But I felt that when watching the character from 3rd person camera angles the extreme bounce might cause disorientation for a player.

Vehicle

This was a fun project. It forced me to stretch my skills into a non organic models. I used Substance painter a lot during this project for their metallic textures.
If I were to go back an do this one again, then I would most definitely spend more time on the small details. Doors, more details on the seats and guns.

The inspiration for this model is that I had around this one was a sort of combat vehicle that would be used to hunt dragons in a modern world. The machine gun and pressurized water gun on top would be used for fighting dragons and the fires that they would face. I wanted it to be use able any where so I gave it a water tank on the back.

This was a fun little project. If I spent more time on it, I would love to have put in more effort into the grass blades. I wanted to go for a bright childeren's game feel.

For school I had to try and make some food items with as few pollies as possible. So here we have a cob of corn, a knife, a wood cutting board, a plate, cup / goblet, a spoon, A bunch of grapes, a carrot, a pinapple, a gourd, a fantasy mushroom, and a dragonfruit.

Dragon Mock 1

This is my first rendition of my own custom dragon model. I wanted it to have blend of western and eastern dragons. He's still a work in progress, and eventually will have animations put up.
